Meet katie
Hi, I’m Katie, a postpartum doula certified by the Childbirth and Postpartum Professional Association (CAPPA). But my best training for the job comes from my own experiences with the birth and postpartum of my four children over the last decade.
I’ve always loved babies, and after having my own children, I became deeply passionate about caring for moms and babies in their first few weeks after birth. My goal is to help combat the lack of postpartum care in this country, starting with you and your baby.
Meet stephanie
Hi, I’m Stephanie, a postpartum doula certified by Birth Arts International. My greatest training comes from my own postpartum experiences as a mom of four, where I learned firsthand how challenging and under-supported the early weeks after birth can be.
After years in a fast-paced legal career, I transitioned into postpartum work in 2020 and found a role that truly fits who I am. I’m deeply passionate about caring for families during this tender time and providing the rest, reassurance, and practical support I once wished I’d had.
FAQs

Anyone who has welcomed a new baby! Our services are tailored to meet the needs of you and your family, so whether it is your first baby and you're looking for guidance and reassurance (and sleep!), or you're a seasoned parent who needs help with the day to day (and also, sleep!) we are there to be an extra set of hands during the fourth trimester.
-
Our role is simple: to come into your home and support you in whatever way feels most helpful to you—whether that’s during the day or overnight. If you’re exhausted because baby was up all night, we can care for your baby so you can sleep, rest, or even just take an uninterrupted shower. During daytime visits, if you’re hoping for a cozy morning of snuggling or feeding your baby, we can take care of light household tasks like meal prep, bottle or pump washing, and tidying so you don’t feel pulled away by the dishes or laundry piling up.
Overnight, our focus is on helping everyone get more rest—supporting your baby while you sleep, assisting with feeds as desired, and creating a calm, restful environment so you can wake up feeling more supported. We can do a lot of the same things that are done during daytime support as well.
We’re also here for emotional support. We love listening to birth stories (especially if you want to unpack or process them), offering reassurance, and sharing general baby care or feeding guidance. And if something feels outside our scope, we’re always happy to help connect you with trusted resources.

Some moms book months in advance of their due date, wanting the certainty of help lined up for baby’s arrival. Other moms reach out just before their due date as things start to really come into focus. And other parents find us in the days and weeks after having a baby when they start to feel the need for some extra hands and help. Whenever it is that you are ready to reach out, we are so grateful to hear from you and to see if we might be a great match.
-
Nothing! You don’t need to plan, prep, or do anything in anticipation of my arrival. Certainly if you have things know you'd like help with I can do them, but often I will just intuitively figure out what I can do to ease things for you so that you can focus on resting, recovering, and most importantly enjoying your new baby.
-
Sometimes! Our services are self pay and you can use any major credit card, or a FSA/HSA card. After our visit we can give you a superbill which you can submit to your insurance to see if they will reimburse you for some or all of my time with you. Many insurance companies are getting better about offering coverage for a variety of postpartum supports, so it is always worth checking with your insurance provider!
